Welcome to our community. Reflections on the River is located in the Sebastian, Florida area on the beautiful Indian River Lagoon directly opposite the Pelican Island National Wildlife Refuge, our nation’s first National Wildlife Refuge. The Sebastian River area is located on the central east coast of Florida and is situated in the northernmost part of Indian River County about fifteen miles north of Vero Beach, Florida and twenty miles south of Melbourne, Florida. Both cities offer shopping at several malls and brand name stores and excellent dining at a variety of restaurants. The Indian River Lagoon, which is North America’s most biologically diverse estuary, is ranked as both the longest saltwater estuary in Florida and the most extensive barrier-island/tidal inlet system in the United States and offers unparalleled fishing and boating opportunities. The Pelican Island National Wildlife Refuge is located directly east of our community on the barrier island and offers bird and wildlife viewing and nature trails. The Sebastian Inlet, which is abouth five miles by boat from our dock, offers access to the ocean and is one of the premiere fishing spots on the east coast. the Sebastian Inlet State park offers miles of pristine beach as well as spectacular surf fishing. The state park also offers surfing and regular competitions are held annually.
Our community presently consists of nine condominiums of varied building designs. Condominium one, two and three are three story buildings with twenty eight units in condominium one and thirty units each in condominiums two and three. Condominium four, seven and eleven consists of forty four villas contained in twelve multi-unit buildings. Condominium five consists of one twelve unit and one seven unit two story buildings. Condominium six is a three story twenty one unit building overlooking Mirror Lake. Condominium eight is a twenty eight unit four story building. Most units are predominately two bedroom, two bath units although there are some one bedroom and three bedroom units.
Reflections on the River has a spacious clubhouse facility located on the beautiful Indian River. The clubhouse has a bar area, a large meeting/social room with a large flat screen television and plenty of comfortable seating. The exterior facilities on the west side include tables with umbrellas and chairs on a lovely wooden deck that overlooks Mirror Lake. On the east side of the clubhouse, overlooking the Indian River Lagoon, we have a beautiful heated swimming pool, with tables with umbrellas, chairs, lounge chairs and a grill.
We also have a boardwalk which meanders across a natural mangrove area to the Indian River and a dock with twenty boat slips and three kayak racks which will hold thirty three kayaks. The dock provides a relaxing place for fishing or just enjoying the beautiful view.
